HOW I CLEAN MY BRUSHES + TIPS + WHERE YOU CAN BUY THEM
I'm trying to be consistent with posting that's why I've already prepared and planned everything and because of that I'll be posting 1 or 2 blog posts everyday again! 🙌😍 I'm so excited for you guys to see those! 😄
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Many of makeup lovers, like me, do wash their brushes with soap that can be bought at online shops, divisoria, etc. or sometimes others use their regular soap to wash their brushes. But I just realized that washing my brushes isn't good, I noticed some of my brushes being not that soft anymore. So I stopped doing that but instead I just brush my brushes into a tissue paper then let excess makeup be removed.
About a week or two weeks, my cousin gave me her Parian Spirit Makeup Brush Cleaner which I believe is used by many makeup artists. She told me to just pour some on a tissue paper then brush my brushes (in a swirl motion) there.
TIP: You can transfer some on a spray bottle to control the amount of cleaner that you'll put on the tissue paper. My cousin also told me not to put it directly to the brush, I think it's because it can hurt the skin. (My cousin is a makeup artist, I believe her!)
I did that to all of my brushes and it all looks new again!! By the way, the brush cleaner smells like orange but it's too strong and it also can't be applied directly to the face (why would someone do that? lol). I would suggest to use that in an open area.
For the three white brushes (1 for the face and 2 for the eye), I got it from divisoria for 200 pesos for 10 pieces. You can purchase online but I believe it's expensive. It's unbranded and super soft. TIP: When you go to divisoria, learn to haggle with prices and ask nicely. Mine was 250 but I haggled!
For the four small gold handle brushes (all for the eyes, it includes a eyelash curler), I got them at Watson Light Mall for 69.75php only. It's not because it can't hold eyeshadow, which I can't see why. They're small that's why it's good for travelling.
And for the four pink brushes (it's 5 but the other one is just for the eyebrows), I got this at Forever 21 for 280php, expensive rightttt? I wouldn't suggest buying this because there are brushes out there that are cheap but better than this.
TIP: If you're a beginner and on a tight budget, you can purchase at divisoria or at watsons specifically at the ever bilena and careline section, there a 5pcs set of brushes worth 125.00 there.
✨ What is the best brushes you ever used? Comment down! 😄
