HOW TO START YOUR ON BLOG? A STEP BY STEP GUIDE + TIPS FOR BEGINNERS


Disclaimer: I am not a famous or professional blogger. This is just a way for me to share what I know about makeup and stuff.

I started my blog almost 2 months already and I can say that I am enjoying taking pictures of my makeups, my makeup looks, sharing my diy projects, and basically everything that is related to my blog's theme.

The first thing I thought when I was starting up is what I want to post on my blog. This should be something that you are passionate about, for example, I love makeup, clothes, and girly stuffs, so my posts are about that. Choose something that you really love and make sure that you're willing to share ideas to your readers. 

 So if you already know what your blog should be about. You can start thinking about your blog's domain: it could be your name, or anything you want. It's up to you! There are blog hosts out there that are free and can be paid, but for me I chose a free host which is Blogger. But there are hosts there that are also free like Wordpress, and Tumblr.

Next thing to consider is your blog's theme. There are ready-made ones at blogger but you can also customize your own. Choose a theme that can represent you, and also a theme that matches your passion for your blog.

 Now, if your all set to start posting. Plan you posts, it's better to have a planner to jot down ideas. I'm sure ideas will come up to your mind when you see that your blog is nice and colorful!

WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT BLOGGING?

It can help being committed to your blog, make sure that you'll post atleast twice or thrice a week so that your readers will have something to check once in a while.

Do something that you're really passionate about. Not something that you just want because it can get you paid. It's better to do a thing that you love then you're getting paid, right? Be hands on to your blog.

Don't start your blog because you want to have sponsorships, do it because you really want it. Brand sponsorships will come when you work hard!

At first, your blog's audiences might not be increasing that fast but as long as it is increasing that's a good thing.

That's all. I hope you learned something about this post. Again, I am not a professional blogger. I knew about this things while I am researching before. This is just a passion that I never knew I would love so much.

Manila Sundance Bazaar / Patches & Pins to Love, from Jukaykay

My feet dragged me last sunday to the best bazaar I've ever went. YAY. Okay so, I went to Manila Sundance Bazaar Summer Flair last week (Mar. 26 , 2017) to check out their amazing brands. The ticket was ₱50.00 and guess what I am already there when the mall opened. PS: I knew lines would be that long so I went earlier than expected. The bazaar was cool and they have raffles, games, and some other stuff which made the bazaar more exciting. I've been eyeing Jukaykay for so many months and I know it's hard to order on them through online so the only way for me to purchase to them is to visit MBS. I purchased some patches and pins from Jukaykay and here they are: The prices for the patches ranges from ₱15.00 to ₱30.00 depending on the size. For the pins, the prices are ₱15.00 for laminated pins and ₱30.00 for not. Was it worth the money?? The Beauty Junkee 9th Mega Anniversary Meet and Greet Experience

As The Beauty Junkee celebrates her 9th Mega Anniversary, she had a meet and greet for her readers. This meet and greet with workshops started when she was at her 7th or 8th blog anniversary but I only was able to attend this years meet and greet and workshop. Yes, I was one of the lucky 65 readers of her the was chosen to be a part of her big event. The Beauty Junkee's 9th Blog Anniversary was BIG! She had a lot of sponsors like Zen Zest, V&M Naturals, Flormar, Wet and Wild, Pink Sugar, BYS, and so much more. The event took place at Aspace Manila in the Fort Strip last saturday, May 19, 2018.
